I am back!

Hey sorry about the the little absence. There has been a lot going on lately, but first and foremost I am happy to say that Kristen is doing better. Her memory is starting to come back, as well as her sense of humor. I have talked to her a few times now, and she is funnier than before. I have not gotten thru a conversation yet, with out my sides hurting from laughter. There is talk of her return to Calgary around the tenth of Febuary, but not yet back to work.

Well so far I have made the most of being in the mtns. I did get 5 days over Christmas in Fernie with my buds Kyle, Joel, and Alden. New Years was pretty crazy too, with scavening the town for the ultimate party. After running into around 300 people searching the streets, we finally found a pretty crazy house party! The whole trip did leave us with a gift, or should I say Kyle.....good thing Alden was driving him home because he was thumbing no where.

I have been out to ride, every weekend since. I went to castle last weekend, and it was amazing and sad all at the same time. Four or five years ago, I went to ride there after riding six days at Fernie, with Meagan. We went up to the top, rode down, and asked for our money back because it was just ice. Well the night before we went, the hill this year decided it needed some rain. We took the first chair up to mid mountain, and the lift line was crazy, so we said we would do a run down from the there. Now the snow was no softer than when I was there last. I almost had to put something in my ears because it was so loud. Well the next time up we decided to wait the 15 minute line up and go to the top. Apparently the rain is scared of hights and did not go any higher than mid mtn. and it was knee high for the most part! Even by the end of the day, we were getting fresh tracks in the glades, and it was just amazing!

Most of the co-ops I met in the first term, all left and the new crop of students have something to be desired. The new grads have kept me under control, and have also kept me busy. There are still a bunch of us, and we do manage to go out once and while, but thankfully not nearly as much as the first four months. It is time to start thinking of summer and school/work.

This last weekend was another fun one. Friday I went to the Lacross game, and it was a lot of fun. I have never seen lacross before, and it is quite crazy. Think, rugby with sticks. Cross checking is allowed, and wow, do they take advantage of it. I am happy to also say that I was able to get a few laughs at half time. I am the guy in the red g-string........
This really cute girl came and found me at half time, and asked if I wanted to have some fun. Well after I raced across the arena floor and bumping against the "other sumo" I came in second. I still was able to get fifty dollars of sushie!

I also have a vid which is pretty funny, I am currently working on getting it up on the web. It is pretty funny because the guy taking it was really interested in the chear leaders standing in front of him and contined to scan back and forth.....Check back for further deets on the vid.

Well I should go....but I will be back...

Hey buddy, this is frenchy. I had to leave you at least one comment on your blog. I'm glad to hear you're still having fun in Calgary. And yes you should try to save some money, I'm totally broke right now, but I have no regrets what so ever about the partys we had together. I'm still partying hard over here but I miss you guys. I was just watching your CD and thought I should stop on your blog. I hope I'll see you again soon. Write me back anytime you want.

Ciao Sebby
