Birthday Bowling

Well as some of you know my birthday was this last Sunday (26) and my cousins Lincoln and Michele made it a pretty good weekend. First on Saturday we went bowling and then to local pub, followed by the hot tub. Sunday I went golfing with some buds and then Michele made me dinner and we invited over the neighbor girls.....I will leave you with some pics

Well here is the after-math of New Years and Kyle vs the handrailing. Maybe the doctors in the bunch can point out the cracks because I cannot. Maybe Kyle can grace us with knowledge of this maddness.


Work has been really busy the last little while as I have had to put some overtime in and do a little evening work. I don't really mind as one of the projects will get national acclaim at Shell, and the other one was to fix an error that has been up on the website since last May. In other words, no one except the one who brought it up will know that I fixed it.

As some of you know this last week was St. Patricks day. Well it has been my mission since Christmas to save money, and not go out so much, but there was around 20 of us from Shell who decided to let loose one night and we got caught up in the hype . We got there around 4:00 and that was a sign of a long night of green beer and Irish music. Patties day is so different in Calgary. Sure Winnipeg likes to celebrate it but here the pre-emption to chaos was amazing! The city starting advertising a week early and never stopped. When we arrived at 4, we could hardly get thru the front door as they where so many people. Kind of funny but around 10:00 the bar was almost empty. I guess thats what happens when the party starts so early......

I know I know

Well it has been a while I know but here is another update.

It is now Wednesday, and it was my first day back to work. I took Monday and Tuesday off to go Snowboarding in Fernie, but first the weekend. Well for the most part it was pretty tame, I went to watch the university womens volleyball championships at the U of C which was cool and I also stopped by the Olympic Oval where they held the speed skating, and I never knew how big it actually was. Then came Sunday....

Well as some of you know Michele is in the media and this was just her thing. Apparently every year she has a Oscar party, and pulls out all the stops. Well this year was no different. The theme this year was "Broke Back style", for some of you who have seen the movie, it was just that. We all dressed up and watched the show. Now Michele invited her co-workers and Linc's buds. I have to tell you that Michele's friends are quite a bit more attractive than Linc's.

They all work with Michele at Inside E and wow! is all I can say. It was a really good night. There are some more pictures but I am forced to use a little sensorship. If you want to see some of these other pics please email me.

Well snowboarding was different. Monday, was raining and raining hard. I did three runs before calling it quits and Joel and I headed for the bar. Monday was a different story. They got around 24 cms that night and there was no ice from the day before. At some spots in the trees the snow was over my knees. We had a great time and I was able to do a few head stands with my board in the air.

Here is my neighbours sister Joli whom is a hair dresser and last time she cut my hair I walked away bleeding, so I might be cutting my own hair from now on....
